The Seattle real estate market has slowed down a bit, but is still in a great place. Here’s why.

I’ve got a quick update for you on the Seattle real estate market today. As many know, our inventory has increased while prices went down this year. Right now, we’re seeing a bit more stabilization with increased inventory. In the hottest neighborhoods, however, homes are still selling quickly and with multiple offers.

"Six of the last seven recessions saw increased real estate prices."

With low interest rates, don’t expect all this great inventory to last. If you’ve been looking to buy or sell a home here in Seattle, now might be a great time to do so before conditions change.

Even with a potential recession looming, nobody is predicting a decrease in real estate prices in the near future. Of the last seven economic recessions, the one in 2007 is the only one where prices went down in real estate.

If you have any questions for me in the meantime about buying, selling, or investing in Seattle real estate, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
