• This location can't be beat. We loved the quiet, friendly. neighborhood. It felt like we were out in the countryside - often the only sound was bird song - yet the Lynnwood light rail station is only ten minutes away. So easy to go to Seattle for dinner or to the airport without using a car.

• During winters, the wood stove became the heart of the home. We loved starting the day with a coffee by the fire - it was often hard to move away! At the end of the day, we'd sit with a glass of wine. A perfect place to relax.

• You feel so immersed in and connected to nature here. We planted numerous native plants that encouraged local wildlife to visit. We will miss the birds the most. We loved having a morning coffee on the deck outside the living room and listening to the birds. Such a tranquil spot.

• We really loved and appreciated the high levels of craftsmanship throughout the home. The previous owner was a master woodworker and installed beautiful wood panels, coving, and molding throughout. All the cabinetry is custom-made - nothing about this house is generic!

• The layout of this house lends itself to multiple uses. In winter, we'd often move the dining table by the wood stove to create a cozy, intimate dining setting, and we'd change the dining room into a reading nook. The living room is large enough to be divided into different zones. The cooler rooms down in the basement are perfect as a pantry, wine storage, and art room. The additional studio outside works as a gym, workshop, craft studio, or kids' playroom. We loved playing with different ways of using the space.

• There is really no shortage of storage space here. Under the kitchen, under the eaves, behind the primary bedroom closet. We found secret panels that, when removed, reveal even more storage! We loved being able to hide away the stuff we weren't using.

• We loved looking out of the kitchen window while we made our morning coffee and seeing the mountains in the distance and the twinkling of the water. It reminded us of how close we were to Edmonds, with all its amenities and natural beauty.

• This home is equipped with high-quality appliances and systems that you can truly rely on. Wolf kitchen appliances, a top-of-the-line radiant heating system, high-power showers, Nordic wood stove - we loved the quality of the appliances, which gave us confidence they would last.

• The firepitside of the house gets the sun in the evening. We loved hanging out here at the end of the day with a glass of wine, catching the last of the rays. It's surrounded by the gravel garden, and in summer the smell of lavender fills the air. 

• Who wouldn't love this yard space divided up into garden rooms? We loved having breakfast in the 'Secret Garden', where the sun first touches in the morning. The lawn is perfect for playing with pets, kicking a soccer ball around with kids, or setting out a mini-golf or croquet set in the summer. The Grove, with its pond and tree shade, is where we hung out in the height of summer. The small orchard covered with PNW wildflowers is a pollinator magnet, and the vegetable patch offers space to grow enough greens you'll never need to buy any.

With a realtor who didn't support us... We were at our wit's end

My wife and I moved from Texas to Seattle in December and were excited to find a new build home quickly, but it wasn’t going to be ready until March. After multiple delays by the builder both before and after the pandemic and working with a realtor who didn’t support us in continuing our search, we  were at our wits end. We saw an ad on Facebook to look at homes in the 500k-900k range and I clicked learn more! At first I was talking to a robot, but then 1 min later, Carly popped on and said hey I’m a real person and I can help answer your questions. She immediately got on the phone with us, discussed what we wanted, and got us a list of potential homes within an hour. 3 hours later we were able to tour a home with her (while following COVID-19 policies around showings) and she helped us put in an offer that evening. She was extremely proactive, listened to what our wants/needs were and ultimately made it happen. She was able to facilitate a 18 day close between all buyers on a VA loan, yes a VA Loan!!! My wife is a nurse manager overseeing all coronavirus floors at her hospital and I am working to build tech to meet safety guidelines to address coronavirus in relation to grocery delivery and pickup, and we just didn’t have time to waste or stress over this. We are over the moon at how amazing Carly managed this process and provided above and beyond customer service. Working with Justin Day, and the team at Wagner Real Estate Group, was a wonderful experience, helping us through the entire process with sage advice and proper direction. Our initial meeting with Justin was on 11/13/2019, where he patiently got us up-to-speed with the current real estate environment, and put together a great plan for moving forward. We had very specific needs for our new home, both in type and location, which greatly limited the amount of options available to us. We identified a condo that met our needs and made an offer 7 days after our initial meeting, which was accepted without a counter the next day.  Justin was also handling the listing of our house and made several great suggestions to get it into a condition that would bring top dollar. With new interior paint throughout, a proper amount of decluttering, and strategic staging we listed our house and received 5 offers within a week, accepting one $30K over listing. Justin was able to work with everyone involved in both sales to set aggressive closing dates for both properties, and the entire process went off without a hitch. We couldn't have been happier with the entire experience of working with Justin, and will definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking for real estate advice/assistance

Maynard was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and took his time when working with me.  This is a big decision, and he understands the anxiousness that comes with making such a big purchase.  He understood my requirements and limits and helped put in an offer that was strategic and competitive.   He helped me get into my new home in record time (4 weeks from mutual acceptance to closing and moving in!!).  He understands that clients are putting a lot of trust into him and his team, and he takes that very seriously.  He will not make you feel pushed into doing something you don't want to do, but also provides a balanced point of view when it comes to market conditions, future landscapes, interest rates, etc.... I really appreciated the sounding board, his vast set of resources (inspection, handyman, etc) and his responsiveness is unparalleled.  In addition, I needed to find a new renter for my former condo, and he did all the work.  Helped me take pictures and market the unit on Zillow.  That was a huge help and helped ease my stress.  I highly recommend Maynard.  This is my second time working with Maynard and I would/will absolutely use him again.

We invited eight real estate brokers to a “broker’s open house” and subsequently requested a written response from each to a rigorous Request for Proposal.            At the “broker’s open house”, Maynard expressed a demonstrable interest in wanting to present our house to the market and provided several good suggestions for proceeding. His response to the Request for Proposal was very professional and by far the most responsive. He provided several unique approaches for us to consider in our preparation for the sale and clearly demonstrated his understanding of the current market trends and his sensitivity to the unique remodel potential that our house presented.            Following his unanimous approval by our Trustee group, he and his team set out in a very organized and efficient manner helping us understand our options, determine the most valid approach to presenting our house, setting a reasonable asking price and executing the myriad of administrative tasks. His use of 3D representation of the various potential remodel options for our property in the promotional material was extremely effective.            Maynard was on top of consistently keeping us informed on the status and progression of the pre-sale activity and always ensured that we understood all aspects as we moved along. His effective negotiating skills and guidance in the vacillating housing market resulted in the Trust realizing a final sale price which was $100,000 over the very reasonable asking price.            We found the experience of working with the Maynard Wagner Real Estate Group in the sale of our house to be not only very rewarding but quite pleasant and informative. Justin was supportive of seeing the homes we were interested in and gave informative opinions on numerous aspects of each place, pointing out considerations we may not have thought of otherwise.  Communicating with Justin was a breeze.
