📍TOP THINGS OUR CLIENTS LOVE ABOUT THEIR HOME
• This home perfectly blends mid-century modern flair with contemporary updates that make for a very livable and lovable space.
• Living in this location has encouraged us to be outside more - your surroundings truly make you feel like you're living in a park! Since the home is situated right next to Discovery Park, Commodore Park and the Kiwanis Nature Preserve, there are so many outdoor spaces and trails to explore any time of year. You can also see so many birds fluttering by or resting in the trees!
• Big picture windows in the living room show off lush nature views all year long, plus westerly views of stunning, colorful sunsets. In the winter, you can even see peekaboo views of Puget Sound and boats as they pass through the canal toward the Locks.
• Relaxing on any of the decks was one of our favorite passtimes - so peaceful!
• The kitchen is a dream to cook in! There is room for multiple chefs, and the space stays light and bright with its sunny window above the sink. We added a new pantry for even more storage.
• You have ideal, easy access to downtown, Queen Anne and Ballard from this location - it's truly the best of both worlds, peace and privacy without sacrificing the conveniences of living in a city. Our area has a wonderful neighborhood feel.
• Efficient mini-splits provide glorious air conditioning on those inevitable super-hot summer days, plus heat in the winters without spiking energy bills.
• Having three full bathrooms was truly such a blessing! When having guests stay over, everyone can have their own space and privacy. The primary bathroom is especially elegant with heated floors, dual vanities, a rain shower and charming teak cabinet.
• Magnolia was recently voted the friendliest neighborhood in America - and we agree! The community here is incredible. It is so easy to meet neighbors and friends between the Farmers Market, local restaurants, SummerFest, and great local schools.
• It is really so special to live just steps away from the Ballard Locks. There is so much to enjoy along the water in that space - watching fish pass through the salmon ladder, outdoor concerts in the summer, taking out of town visitors to watch the boats pass through and see the manicured botanical gardens - all without having to drive or deal with parking!
• Being just about a 15-minute walk to all the fun of Ballard was such a joy - breweries, the Nordic Museum, Farmers Markets, dining and shopping - there's so much to explore!
