Everything you need is within minutes, from great dining to shopping to entertainment options and more. Plus, heading downtown is easy with multiple bus routes stopping just down the block.
• We added VELUX solar venting skylights in the primary bedroom in 2015 and they add so much warm, beautiful sunlight to that space. They also create great air flow so the space stays nice and cool in the summertime.
• Having three full bathrooms is such an understated luxury. When you have guests staying over or everyone is getting ready for the day at the same time, having three separate spaces to use was incredibly convenient.
• The vaulted ceilings and millwork throughout the home are really beautiful - it gives the home personality and craftsman flair that is hard to find these days.
• We love our neighbors! Many residents in this area have been here for a long time, and take great care of their homes and gardens. Everyone is so nice and inviting, and we all look out for each other. We made many friends living here and will miss the sense of community greatly.
• Thanks to the lofted bonus space in the primary suite, this home feels like it has an extra room! It works wonderfully as a home office or a reading nook (and that gorgeous light coming in through the skylights makes it really cozy), but could also be used as a super-private sleeping area - waking up to that warm morning light is magical!
• This neighborhood is so amazingly quiet - you feel worlds away from it all! Sometimes you forget that you're living in a big, bustling city. Tons of people walk through the neighborhood with their families and dogs - it has such a lovely, safe and residential feel to it.
• We enjoyed the flexibility of having a 2-car garage. It's great for parking one car and using the rest of the space for storage.
• Guests coming to stay with us loved having the lower level to themselves. The bedroom on the lower level offers the perfect amount of separation and privacy when needed, or it works great as a space for remote work or learning.
• All the diverse offerings of Fremont, Ballard and Queen Anne are within minutes. This home is a short stroll to the Fremont Bridge, plus both the Ship Canal Trail and the Burke Gilman Trail are nearby. Even getting to South Lake Union on foot is a doable and enjoyable walk along the waterfront.
