A 1920's Gem with a Backyard Oasis!

Magnolia offers both quietness and connection just moments from the heart of the city. This quintessential 1920's brick Tudor has everything you love about classic Seattle architecture: coved ceilings, hardwood floors, built-in shelves, a centerpiece fireplace, and period lighting fixtures - all built with impressive craftsmanship that keeps up with modern life. Watch cruise ships, ferries, and even orcas passing by in Elliott Bay through windows in multiple rooms, or relax on the inviting front paver patio to take in gorgeous sunset colors over your idyllic neighborhood. A newly opened-up kitchen acts as the anchor for quiet nights in or get-togethers of any size, seamlessly flowing outside to a sprawling back patio with a built-in fireplace, lush greenery, and plenty of room for grilling or dining al fresco. Fantastic layout with versatility galore: one bedroom on the main level, two bedrooms upstairs, plus a huge rec room, bonus room, fourth bedroom, a chic 3/4 bathroom, and an oversized laundry room on the lower level (with great potential for an ADU). Mature wisteria, hydrangea, ferns and other plantings create a private backyard oasis you'll love to spend time in this summer. The detached garage and long driveway have space for multiple cars and hobbies. Tucked on a quiet street with unbeatable proximity to Magnolia Village, top-rated schools, the Magnolia Bridge, and all the perks of urban living. This one may feel too good to be true, but it's not - and it can be yours!

📍NEIGHBORHOOD HIGHLIGHTS

Magnolia is often touted as one of Seattle's best neighborhoods, and for good reason! This tranquil suburban setting is made up of quiet residential streets lined with the neighborhood's namesake trees and exquisite, well-kept homes. Stunning vistas of the downtown skyline, Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, and both the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges are visible from endless viewpoints throughout the neighborhood. Recently named one of the country's most friendly neighborhoods, you'll instantly feel a sense of community here.

The hustle and bustle of city life is optional here; Magnolia is semi-secluded from the core of Seattle with water on 3 sides. Don't see this as a disadvantage though - the quiet, secluded feel of the neighborhood creates a strong sense of peace, safety and serenity. When you want the modern conveniences of urban amenities, you never have to travel far; top-notch bakeries, restaurants offering endless different cuisines, grocers both local and large-scale, a Farmers Market. and more are close by. Outdoor recreation and fun awaits at a number of nearby parks, including the beloved Discovery Park, spanning over 530 acres along the bluffs and shores of Puget Sound. Ballard, Queen Anne, downtown and beyond are easily accessible any time of year. You'll fall in love with life in the lifestyle that instills itself in you when you come home to this fantastic community.

📍TOP THINGS OUR CLIENTS LOVE ABOUT THEIR HOME

  • This location is so convenient! You have easy connections to some of the best neighborhoods in Seattle - Ballard, Fremont, Queen Anne - they're all close by and accessed in just a few minutes.
  • We loved watching the ferries go back and forth through Puget Sound between Bainbridge Island and Seattle. Those views are so classically PNW!
  • The house is the perfect mix of old charm and updated, modern convenience. Period details like the original hardwood floors, leaded glass windows and built-in shelving have stood the test of time and are still elegant and stylish, while newer updates in the kitchen give the space a fresh, 215 century feel.
  • Gardens galore! The landscaping here is truly magical. You get to experience waves of color and blooms during pretty much every month of the year, and something will always surprise you. Roses, hydrangea, wisteria - there's too many beautiful varieties to name!
  • Magnolia Village is a short walk, bike ride, or drive away, and there are so many great local spots to enjoy there! We loved wandering through the Saturday farmers market in the summer, popping into the local bookstore, or picking up a delicious pastry at Petit Pierre Bakery.
  • The basement level offers such an impressive amount of versatility (and tons of storage space too). Between the huge rec room, bonus room, bedroom, and oversized laundry room, there is space for whatever your life demands - and plenty of it! tI could also potentially be converted pretty easily into a mother-in-law suite which would add even more value to the space.
  • You can hop on the Elliott Bay Trail just east of here, which offers great connection by foot or bike to downtown, the sports stadiums, and all of the attractions along the waterfront. The pathway is fully paved and mostly level, so it's great for getting outside. The Ship Canal Trail and Burke Gilman Trail are nearby, too!
  • The backyard is really what sold us on the home originally. You have SO much outdoor space to enjoy. We added a fence in the front yard to fully enclose the space and make ti safer for pets or kids. The patio with the fireplace is such a fun spot to spend time - we loved having friends over for dinners or happy hour in the summer in that space.
  • You have no shortage of parking here. Between the detached garage and the long driveway, we always had plenty of room. Street parking is easy in this neighborhood, too - that was always helpful for when friends came over.
